Virtually storming out of nowhere, Milwaukee's FOREVER IS FORGOTTEN have made a huge impact on the both the midwest and national metal/hardcore scenes. With only a self-released EP, the band has cultivated tons of high profile press and has landed solid tours throughout the country, while selling thousands of records on their own to boot. Now with their debut full length on THORP RECORDS, the fever will only accelerate.
FOREVER IS FORGOTTEN carve out track after track of music that is equally metal as it is hardcore, equally brutal as it is emotive, and on all accounts mosh-worthy. FIF have found fans from all corners of the scene -- from the diehard metal heads to the tough guy hardcore enthusiasts to the new school screamo kids. "The Architecture Is Still Burning" is a record that finds a symbolic home in the bands hearts. "Architecture" refers to the structure of the band itself and the bands very existence. As the members grow as a band and also grow as individuals, they have felt many forces tug at that architecture in an attempt to break it down and chip away at it -- be those forces jobs, money, responsibilities, relationships, criticism, or even family. The band made a decision to uphold the architecture of their music that they have worked so hard at creating and promoting. This record is a sonic, visual, and lyrical testimony to the fact that the architecture still burns with a healthy flame of ambition, and refuses to be thwarted by the pressures poised against it.
