In the fine American tradition of honoring our vets via the copious consumption of charred flesh and fermented heaven...what be your poison?

Got some chicken kabobs for today and ribs for tomorrow. Thinking of popping open a '10 Dark Lord...but I'll probably just fall back on my stash of Tyranena Scurvy and Founders Double Trouble to clean out the fridge.

Sweet/Sour portebello and peppers, a fat spinach salad with beans and sprouts with a homemade vinaigrette , baked grapefruit for desert and a pint of Samuel Smith Oatmeal stout.

Three liters of water- In the sun at the pool most of the day and a 3 mile run.

Dinner = T-bone (grass feed natural Missouri beef) shared with my 5 year old daughter with 1 cup watermelon and 1 cup pineapple.

Then a big frosted cookie.

I grilled chicken breast with the bone in and burgers. they were a hit and very tasty. Also I'd like to add that the new flaovors from BULLS EYE barbecue are very good. Carolina is the best of em.

White brats with stick-in-ass,a few of their "older" sides browned to the color of shoe leather...marinated in whatever was cheap.

Ribs on the grill now...4 pack of Founders Double Trouble going down like the sweet elixir that it is.

Sitting on my wifes laptop (my pc fried) like a dilrod on Memorial day because there's nothing else going on and shes working...not to mention I think the Chicago area is seeing it's first monsoon...good thing my grill has a porch overhanging it.

Sounds like it may be war movie marathons keeping me busy till the Blackhawks game saves me.

Being as I'm anti-social generally, lazy when I'm not working, and away from my wife and kid... I'm hanging out alone on the computer, watching cartoons(about to do a sanshou workout though) and generally not doing anything. Might eat some pizza or make a veggie burger after a bit though. Who knows... the day is totally free and anything could happen... :rolleyes:
