did you see my response when you asked me this two weeks ago? if you know anyone who could transfer the xmb database table structure to work with
phpbb (so we don't have to start from scratch again), please let me know. it's a bit too much for me right now.
and just out of curiousity, do you find this board slow? i've been pretty happy with it.

yeah, i'm thinking the same thing about the tables. i know super nerds could do up, but i'm just not up for the time commitment.

Honestly, I sort of like XMB.
But if you were interested in switching to phpBB, they have a database converter on their page.
My beef with phpBB is, there has been several security issues over the past year or so. We use it on my zine's site but I've wanted to change for
awhile now.

shane - what do you like about xmb? do you use many of the admin functions? unfortunately those converters don't cover this version.
does anyone else have an opinion this board (XMB) versus others?
the only problem i have with this program is that there is no mechanism to prevent spam registrations - like having to type in randomly generated
number/letter combos during the registration process. i'd move to phpbb for that functionality and because it's what most HxC boards seem to be
running. other than that, i really like this software.

I don't find any problem with this board & I dig the features like the now playing shit and stuff. This board is a nice change to 80 million phpbb
used on every site everywhere.
