you know, i played the miami one to perfection.
then when i got the LA one, i wasn't interested in actually 'playing'.
i just drove around, collected cars, killed people and gambled.
i honestly don't think i completed a single task.

I prefer PC though
but i used to play GTA, GTA2 and then the new GTA's from LC to VICE CITY on playstation 1 and 2.
Never played San Andreas.

So I wanna get this on PC though because I don't play consoles anymore.

XBox 360 is the way to go.... there will be downloadable content (ie new missions) for the 360, NOT for the PS3.

I must own a 360 by October. I'm currently obsessing with Vice City Stories.

you just sealed the deal for me. we're definitely getting a Xbox 360. Is the release date the same for both systems?

They would most likely release it for both systems on the same date... the two platforms would pretty much be adament that one didn't release before the other.

As for the downloadable shit on Xbox, odds are that PS3 will have the same downloadable options, but they won't be available as fast as Xbox. Sony often does that everytime you hear a platform claiming to have "Exclusive to xbox/nintendo/etc", but it's a game released to all platforms. The developers tend to take longer with Playstation games because they are notorious for being a hard system to create games for.

I was never crazy about the Xbox but that shit sealed the deal for me too. I didn't buy a PS2 until GTAIII came out, grabbed every single game on release day since.

Release date is the same for both Xbox360 & PS3... the exclusivity deal with Sony is kaput.

For you Nintendo heads, Manhunt 2 is coming out for the Wii. I'm not a Wii fan, but the concept of using that controller to strangle people on screen is definitely not what Nintendo had in mind.
