Killing Time Part II

Thoughts?

Highlights for me:

Awkward Thought- Franko is the best. Only guy in HC who would wear a ski-mask for the entire set they were having filmed. How he didn't pass out from that AND the hooded sweatshirt I'll never be able to figure out.

Slumlords- first time i've seen em live. Jeff is such a great frontman and they have the party 'core thing down to a brutal, fun science.

Uppercut- far better set than they played Thursday. According to singer Steve "We were angrier." When Tigers Fight AIAC cover and of course, Am I Clear seemed to get the moshoholics really started.

KT- Another great set. While not as absolutely technically perfect as Thursdayl, they played fucking great and the energy was a notch higher. Anthony was a pisser and Jeff Breakdown coming onstage to do "Sick People" after not being onstage with those guys from the original breakdown for almost 18 years was great.

After the show, we also re-created the picture from the back of the breakdown 87 demo single. Which I'll probably post at Blackout when I get it. That way you can see what 20 years of hardcore actually does to people.

Awesome. That sounds like one hell of an amazing show. I swear, one o' these days I'm gonna move somewhere that actually has noteworthy events like this going on.

i'm stoked to see all these reviews, and that picture is fucking awesome. i'm super bummed i couldn't go to those shows.

let\'s scrub that sensitivity with some sandpaper....
