Kyuss Lives
A buddy of mine told me last night that Kyuss was getting back together and hitting the road. I looked into it today and it's a scab line-up called
"Kyuss Lives". Bum out..... so close.

Kyuss were amazing.

i heard Josh Homme is on board now after initially not wanting to do it so it'd be him, John Garcia, Brant Bjork and Nick Oliveri so all original or
ex-members.
i saw Garcia doing a 'Garcia sings Kyuss' set earlier this year and it wasn't too hot but this was mainly because the guitar tone was awful and
nowhere near loud enough.
I'd be curious to check this out but tickets are already on sale and going fast if they haven't already. Fuck it.
I got to see em back in the day at small venues circa 'Sky Valley' and 'And The Circus...' so I can cling on those memories haha

i don't see how it's a scab lineup, the only non-kyuss member is bruno fevery. i also saw "garcia plays kyuss" this year and for me it was a good
experience. mind you it was the first time i'd ever heard those songs performed live. garcia sounded excellent and the band was pretty good. i'm gonna
get tickets for kyuss lives and if homme ends up joining them all the better.

I guess it just depends on how you see that sort of thing. They're one of a handful of bands that has created an overwhelming demand for a reunion
over the years. If they half ass it then it's sort of spoiled.... at least for me. Sorta like the Jerry Only Misfits.
