Question for Thorp

Just curious. You guys signed bands like Brain failure, New Breed, Discipline, in the past Knuckledust, Rykers, and more I can't think off the top of my head right now who are not from the US.

Are you guys generally keen to sign any band, no matter where in the world they are from, provided of course they are good? Even bands from more obscure countries like maybe Japan, Australia, South Africa etc etc?

A lot of labels won't touch any band no matter how good they are unless they are from the US.

Just curious...

hmmm

I like that.

Like I said in my experience, you could be the next big thing but if your band isn't from the US of A they wont touch you.

Which is why: Thorp rules! I second that!

Hey Neil, welcome. For the most part, Andy signs bands that he digs. Period. He might offer more input, but he doesn't post much.

I'm not so much ocncerned with the country as long as I dig the music and they have at least a tiny bit of footing in the US. Like MAD SIN and DISCIPLINE were both fairly known in the US considering neither had had a real properly treated US release.
