Graphics Tablets (Wacom)
Anyone have one? My friend got one on his junk removal job and gave it to me but it is one of the first Intuos models and the pen was missing making
it useless. The only replacements pen I found was on ebay for $80.00!
So, now I want one damn it! I found some great priced ones at Monoprice.com which is a website I just found out about (that I would tell all of you
to check out if you need hdmi / audio cables, computer stuf / accesories) and they have 10 x 8 tablets for $40.00 with great reviews.
just wondering if any of you have used a tablet and what you think of them. I hear they have a slight learning curve but once you get it you won't go
back to mouse for digital drawing.

i used one for several years in the late 90s.
i used it for everything, not just graphics.
i liked it ok, but i moved to a laptop fulltime, i sold it.
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

I use one for just graphics.
I got the Bamboo Touch. It's like 100 bucks, you don't need the crazy expensive ones.

I use one for all the stuff I draw. If you're doing any kind of illustration it is essential.

Aynone ever use a non-Wacom one? I know they are THE name in tablets, but the ones at Monoprice have some great reviews.

I've used one of these for the last 6-7 years and i've never had any problems with it. It does take some getting used to but once you get the hang of
it you can do some cool stuff that you wouldnt be able to do with a mouse.

Ordered the tablet off of Monoprice today. I'll let you know what I think of it (though I never used a tablet so...)
