Gang Green
Who here loves Gang Green? I like the bar-rock shit WAYYYY better than the early hardcore shit (this is Boston not la) that every critic seems to pan.
I bought "we'll give it to you" way the fuck back in 1987 and I STILL jam this fucking album to this day! Whereas so many albums were treated very
"unwell" by time....this album has actually stood the test of time better than most. In fact, I dare say this album was AHEAD of its time. Every band
at that time was trying to either be total thrash metal/crossover or hardcore....Gang Green just straight up made a bar rock Budweiser album!

I remember seeing Gang Green at Zootz way back when, I think they played with Odd Industry and someone else, it was awesome,a great band indeed.

they did their first reunion 'tour' right after the Eagles did their big reunion tour that was called "When Hell Freezes Over" and I have a GangGreen
tour shirt with the dates on the back for the "When Beer Sucks" tour.
At a festival a couple of years ago Chris Doherty was hanging out drinking with Dave Smalley!
