Half Marathon Training- 11 weeks
I am back at it this year. I am going to run the STL Half Marathon with a few friends on 4-19. Well, they said they wanted to run it but none of
them have started any training.
I'm running 3 days a week. I did 6 miles this morning before work. Finally it was above 30 degrees. It was a blistering 37. I'll be glad when it
gets back into the 60's and 70's.
The only wrinkle in this years training schedule is I'm going to KC for a weekend hockey tournament (I hope to play 5 games). I should be all healed
up to keep training.
Side note- I use a Garmin Forerunner GPS watch when I run. It tracks a ton of shit. I got it 13 months ago. In the past 13 months I have run 380
miles. This doesn't include any treadmill work. That's crazy to me and it really isn't that much running per week. It is about 7.3 miles.
