We at Thorp Records would like to send our condolences to the Amarandos family on the passing of Jeff Amarandos.
Jeff had been a regular member on the Thorp / Sailor's Grave message boards for the past five years and his daily voice was a welcome part of the lives of many who visit the boards. Jeff was a draftsman by trade, served his country militarily in the Canadian Armed Forces during Desert Storm and the Bosnian War, and was an avid lover of — and participant in — underground music. He leaves behind his wife Sheila and his daughter Kate. Our thoughts go out to his family during this difficult time.

"We talked a lot for a few years about many things. The military, music, him moving to the same town my grandfather lives in (Mahone Bay). All I can say is that he was too young and too good for this to happen. He treated everyone with respect and kindness, even young shits like me and I always respected him and his devotion to a way of life that he never ever grew out of."
